今年溫哥華最大的跨年舞會"NEW YEAR'S EVE 2004":http://www.twisted.ca/upcoming_popUP/Twisted2004.html照例將在"萬國廣場（Plaza of Nations）":http://www.plazaofnations.com/舉行，照例由"Twisted":http://www.twisted.ca主辦。這場活動往年都有近五千人，DJ陣容方面，精於刮唱片的turntablism DJ似乎是今年主題，不但請來兩位"DMC Champion":http://www.dmcworld.com/（國際DJ大賽）的冠軍，連掛頭牌的"DJ Swamp":http://www.djswamp.com都是以刮唱片出名。萬國廣場辦舞會多半有三個舞台：大廳以trance、hard house為主，小廳以breakbeat、drum and bass為主，劇院廳以house為主，今年主舞台的頭牌由Breakbeat DJ擔綱倒是很少見，"網路上引起不小的爭議":http://www.fnk.ca/board/showthread.php?s=401964599605f2400fce3c883d019fd0&threadid=38668&perpage=25&pagenumber=1，後來主辦單位再三保證DJ Swamp絕對令人滿意，連溫哥華瑞舞界大老Azim都跳出來解釋，才勉強平息爭吵。到底這個Swamp的演出有多厲害？到時再看看了。

I am surprised and glad that Twisted is doing something *a little bit* different than your usual weekend raves.
